COVID-19

To Our Valued WaBa Grill guests,

During this time of uncertainty, we wanted to share the steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our guests, employees, and the community as we address the challenges posed by COVID-19.

We want to assure everyone that we are on-top of this complex and evolving situation. We have taken our already robust safety and sanitation procedures and have adjusted them to comply with new mandates from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and local officials' regulations. The safety and sanitation of our facilities have been our top priority to preserve the well-being of guests and employees. These are just some of the activities we are engaging in on a daily basis to ensure a safe, healthy environment:

  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning our restaurants, from the back of the house to the guests' waiting area, ensuring disinfection of high-traffic areas.
  • We are enforcing increased frequency of hand-washing and glove-changing between tasks (e.g. food preparation, cash handling, etc).
  • We have closed all self-serve stations. Utensils & add-ons such as additional sauces, jalapeƱos, & green onions are provided only upon request.
  • We have added additional measures to ensure employees are sent home if they are not feeling well.
  • We started enforcing social distancing within our stores. There will be markings on the floor to measure out the recommended 6 feet distance for our customers' reference.
  • We have enforced all employees to wear face masks as protection for our customers and our staff.
  • We will soon be utilizing tamper-evident bags for delivery and off-premise orders to ensure your food is safe from contamination during transport.
  • We are upgrading our loyalty app and online ordering systems to allow curb-side/reduced contact pick-up to ensure you can still get your WaBa fix in the manner in which you feel most safe.
  • We are continually monitoring the situation, listening and adjusting our operational procedures based on announcements and findings of health officials and local authorities. While these circumstances make every day things more challenging, your safety and the safety of our employees is our top priority.
